We recommend:
Blowing out the suction tube and screen.
Replacing the Transmission filter and all pump o-rings.
Checking for fluid leaks (excessive leakage will cause hydraulics to not function properly).
Check Front and Rear ends for contamination and take an oil sample for the same reason. Contaminated fluid will cause damage to your brand new pump.
Pumps come with a brand new seal and bushing. DO NOT remove backing plate without calling for Tech Support, doing so with void the warranty.
